Friends and Followers,
Today is a very sad day for us as we are saying goodbye to one of the most genuine, loving, caring, and thoughtful volunteers. Our friend Jonathan was a true cat lover and we first met many years ago when he and his wife had some outside kitties they needed to trap and get fixed. They were no strangers to kitties as they already had a little shy (to me) kitty named Skamper. In time I was able to gain her trust but she passed about a year ago. Back in March Jonathan and his wife were in a horrible car accident that claimed his life. The saying of gone too soon, is very much how everyone feels. Jonathan was a give back kind of guy. He was so grateful for the help of TNR, cat sitting or general cat related questions. Over the years he was a carpenter, handyman and cat friend ON TOP of being a trusted HUMAN FRIEND !! The day of his accident Stephanie and I were talking about a project we were about to do and I said something along the lines of "Jonathan would know how to do this. I should call him" And he would have ! Jonathan would show up in his free time and tinker with building a shelter, a feeding station, painting structures, enclosing in storage spaces, etc ! Not only is his loss felt with his loving family, it will be felt here also. I have many pictures and videos of his time with us. I did reach out to his daughter and she asked if I could share those photos with her. Here is what she made of just a couple of his projects. Jonathan we loved you and appreciated everything you did for us. We mourn your loss along with your family. https://www.paulfuneralhome.com/obituary/jonathan-brienza
