Sunday while our volunteer Bryan was in the sanctuary feeding, he found Juan in a forever sleep under the fig tree. You will be missed by us all. You came to us in December 2017 after the shelter had over 30 cats surrendered from ONE location. We grabbed you and 12 others. Not all were able to make it out due to being very feral. You were one of the first feral juniors I tried to socialize. I really did try. You were already 8 and half months old though. We shared some tender moments in the beginning but I could see you just needed your space and so you joined our sanctuary and lived a wonderful life here for the last seven and a half years. Your favorite spot was crouched down by the building or inside the straw stuffed igloo there, or in the blackberries. You had so many friends and doppelgangers. It was tough to tell you apart from Shaun. Twin gingers. Goodbye sweet beautiful boy ! I went out the next day and looked around expecting to see you but then remembered you had left us. We were happy to be your guardians and hope to see you again one day. Juan was sponsored through our "Fund-a-Feral" program. If you would like to honor Juan by becoming a monthly sponsor to another sanctuary kitty, please visit our Fund-A-Feral page here.
