We’ve had a lot of things going on and it’s kept me super busy so I apologize for the delay in getting kitten updates out.
Since there’s so much to share it’s going to be spread out over a couple posts. We did a TNR project that was supposed to be small and turned out big. The mamas were trapped at a business but had babies on someone’s property. They gave us the babies and I haven’t heard from them since and it’s been two and a half weeks. Since then, one mama, one tom and three older babies were fixed. The tom was released back. The mama since she was nursing, stayed with us. She and the three older kittens are housed together at the rescue. The mama is shy but able to be civil and somewhat social with people. The kittens are super! One, the little orange baby, is a tiny bit spicy but will be just fine in time. Two of the kittens had ringworm and we are treating them for that. They all had upper respiratory infections and have been getting meds for that also. Calico mama was named daisy. The calico kitten named Rose. The orange kitten named Basil and the grey and white kitten is Sage. They are really super adorable. The grey one has the most laid back demeanor, the calico is next and then little orange baby with his grump. He’s probably still mad at me for leaving him by himself over night after everyone else was trapped. silly boy should have gone in my trap with the rest of them. Want to help?
